Parent Coordinator

Dear P.S. 396 Community,

My name is Alma Gonzalez, and I am the very proud parent coordinator of P.S. 396. I grew up in the Bronx and am a product of the Public-School System. I have a beautiful daughter who also graduated from public schools and is currently finishing her Bachelor's Degree in Child Psychology.

As a first-generation college graduate, I understand the value of obtaining a college-level education. My parents and I were immigrants to this country; hence, my drive to continue to serve parents and families to empower and learn advocacy skills to support their children's educational journey.
